The importance of return management has become increasingly
important in international business activities today. Industry-grade
high-tech products used in China are mainly provided by foreign
companies. These products need require special technical skills
and knowledge to repair. Therefore, these products are usually
sent back to manufacture oversea for repair services. Because
of the geographic size of China and the complexity of coordinating
different domestic freight forwarders to build a reverse logistics
channel, it is challenging to operate and manage such channel
smoothly. Therefore, it is more practical for foreign companies
to outsource such operations to a professional logistics management
company rather than handling the return operation themselves.
